Safe & Eco-Friendly
Ready to use natural Mealy bug pest repellent.
1. Contact Kill or Systemic Action
Contact Sprays: Kill mealybugs on direct contact (e.g., neem oil, soap sprays).
Systemic Sprays: Absorbed by the plant; kill mealybugs when they feed on sap (e.g., imidacloprid-based).
2. Natural or Organic Ingredients
Neem oil, pyrethrin, or plant-based oils (clove, peppermint) are commonly used in organic sprays.
Safer for use on edible plants, indoor plants, and around pets.
3. Oily or Soapy Base
Helps suffocate mealybugs by clogging their breathing pores.
Often includes horticultural oil or insecticidal soap for better adhesion to plant surfaces.
4. Non-Toxic & Residue-Free
Especially important for edible plants like herbs, vegetables, or fruit trees.
Organic options typically leave no harmful residue.
5. Ant Repellent Properties
Some mealybug sprays include ingredients that deter ants, which protect mealybugs in exchange for honeydew.
6. UV & Rain Protection (for outdoor sprays)
Some commercial sprays are UV-stable and water-resistant to remain effective longer on outdoor plants.
7. Ease of Use
Ready-to-use (RTU) sprays are convenient for small-scale applications.
Concentrates are more economical for large gardens and farms.
Ready to use natural Mealy bug pest repellent.
1. Choose the Right Time
Apply in the early morning or late evening, avoiding full sun to prevent leaf burn.
Do not spray before rain (for outdoor plants) or when the plant is water-stressed.
2. Prepare the Plant
Inspect thoroughly: Look under leaves, in leaf axils (where stem meets leaf), and around buds.
Isolate infested plants, especially if indoors.
3. Shake the Bottle Well
Whether it neem oil, insecticidal soap, or a chemical spray, mix thoroughly to ensure even distribution of active ingredients.
4. Spray Thoroughly
Spray directly on visible mealybugs, especially in crevices and under leaves.
Coat the entire plant: tops and undersides of leaves, stems, and base.
Don’t forget to spray the soil surface, as some mealybugs hide near the roots.
5. Repeat as Needed
For organic sprays like neem oil or soap, repeat every 5–7 days until the infestation is gone.
For chemical/systemic sprays, follow label instructions—usually reapplication every 10–14 days if needed.
6. Wipe Off Heavy Infestations
Before spraying, wipe mealybugs off with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to reduce population quickly.
7. Monitor and Maintain
Continue checking your plant for a few weeks.
Remove any heavily infested leaves or stems if the damage is severe.
We bring you high-quality, chemical-free, and nutrient-rich supplements for healthier plants and greener spaces.
